ある日本人旅行者達 / Japanese Tourists in a Russian Bar

ロシア出張も終わりましたが、ハバロフスク最後の日に僕の気分を害する日本人観光客を見てしまいました。ロシア人の友人2人とハバロフスク市内のインツーリストホテルの前にあるバー『ドーピングバー』を訪れた時のこと。店内には私たちの他に何組かおり、ロシア人女性2人だけのテーブルもありました。そこに日本人の旅行客5人ほどが来店。年のころは40代の一人を除き皆60歳前後の方たちです。座った場所は例の女性2人のテーブルの隣。悪い予感がしました。

別に盗み聞きする趣味はありませんが、声が大きいので私の耳にも聞こえてきます。どうも皆さん会社の社長さんのようです。彼らはグラスのウォッカを頼み、それを待っている間に『あのロシア人いい女だな』などと言っています。そして、一人がなんと『How much?』と彼女たちに声を掛けました。悪い予感的中です。女性たちは英語が分かっているのかいないのか顔は向けましたが、無視しています。『参ったなー、英語通じねぇのか？』などと、その一人はつぶやいています。若い40代の男に『おい、お前あいつら何とかしてこい』などと言っており、もうめちゃくちゃです。

そうこうしている内に、その女性達の女友達が着ました。すると今度はそのおっさんが再度『How much?』と数回聞いています。その遅れてきた友達は英語が話せるらしく『We are not Russian prostitutes! （私たちロシア人売春婦じゃないわよ!）』との返事。しかし、おっさんはHow much以外の英語を知らないらしく、その返事の意味が分かりません。『何て言ったんだ今？』などと言っています。しばらくして、どうにもならないと分かったらしくウォッカを飲み干して帰っていきました。

別にこのおっさん連中が旅先で何しようが私は文句もありませんし、ここで言うつもりもありませんが、このロシア人女性の日本人に対する印象を考えるとゾッとします。私はこうはなりたくないものです。

その後10分ほどして40代のおっさんと添乗員とおぼしき2人が戻ってきて店員に何か聞いています。どうも先ほどの誰かがパスポートとチケットを無くしたようですが、しばらく店員が探しても見つからず、結局帰っていきました。ところが5分ほどすると、今度はホテルのセキュリティーと通訳の女性が現れ、店員にテーブルの下や椅子の下も探すように指示をしました。必死に探す店員の女の子。そりゃーそうです。パスポートを無くしたら大変な事態です。ところがやっぱり見つからず。。。

10分後、例の添乗員がまたもや登場。店員に『部屋にありました！』と一言。お騒がせな連中でした。このバー、日本人出入り禁止にならぬ事を願います


On the last day in Khabarovsk, Russia, I saw Japanese tourists who offended people around. 2 friends and I got a bar “Doping bar” located in front of Khabarovsk Intourist hotel. A couple of visitors were there, also 2 Russian girls occupied a table. The Japanese tourists about 5 guys came in, they looked as if they were around 60 years old except a rather young guy looked like around 40. They got a table nearest the Russian ladies table. I foresaw negative things.

I wasn't interesting about their conversation, however because they were too loud, I could hear the conversation, looked like they are a group of some companies' chairmans or directors. They ordered glasses of vodka and chatted about something and the Russian girls. A old guy then said to the Russian ladies “How much?”… Not sure if the ladies could get his drift or not, but the ladies ignored anyway. The guy muttered “Damn it, they don't know Engrish”. The guy also demanded of the young guy “Hey, get them in any ways!!!”

Meanwhile, "a lady" of the ladies joined, at the moment, the old bird again said “How much?” several times. It seemed the friend understood the old bird's meaning, she replied, “We are not Russian prostitutes!!!”… The old man, however, didn't get her drift because it was most likely that he didn’t speak English or perhaps did know only one phrase “How much?”… The old chaps finally lost, he and the guys just emptied their glasses, returned to a hotel.

Again, I'm not interesting whatever the old bird and the guys do, however, I shiver what the Russian ladies feels about Japanese men. I really don't want to be a man like the old guy.

Around 10 minutes later, the young guy and a tour attendant came back and asked a shopgirl something, presumably a guy from the guys lost its passport and air ticket… They tried to find it for a while, but didn't find it. 5 minutes later, they again appeared with a hotel security guy and a Rus-Jpn translator, the security guy instructed the shopgirl to seek everywhere for the lost stuffs, however they lost again.

Again and again, they were back, and he told “The passport and the ticket were in a hotel room”. I wish Japanese wasn't prohibited from comings and goings of the bar.

ピエール・コルテ / Pierre Corthay - Bottier à Paris

久しぶりです。一ヶ月と少し休暇を取得していました。荷物の整理をしたり買い物をしたりと、特に何する訳でもなく普通に休暇を過ごしました。という訳で久々にブログ投稿です。

I'm posting after a long absence. I got a month leave, and during the leave, I did preparation for a removal to Tokyo, shopping, and something to do in Japan, but nothing special, like get a beach with beer.

コルテの『ARCA（アルカ）』です。1990年にパリにて登場したコルテは高級紳士注文靴のメゾンで、日本では2004年より展開しています。色はこげ茶ですがつま先とかかとの膨らみにかけて、色を薄くしたグラデーションが表現されています。お店で試着する際に革はまだ色も艶も無い状態で、お店の方と相談して色の濃さや艶出しの具合などを決めます。大凡1週間ほどで完成しました。

コルテの靴の特徴はなんと言っても“ベクデーグル”（鷲のくちばし）と呼ばれる、トゥの美しい曲線美ですが、ARCAのデザインはシンプルでそのラインを最も堪能できるモデルだと思います。

フランス製の靴ですがラストが足に合っているようです。履いたその日から当たる所も無く良くフィットしています。以前イタリア靴のブランキーニが私の足に合わなかったので、果たしてコルテはどうだろう？と思いましたが、全くの懸念でした。

A French shoemaker Corthay makes these shoes named Arca. Corthay started from 1990 in Paris as a bespoke shoemaker, and started in Tokyo 2004. The shoes colour is umber brown, and is expressed gradation of brown from the toe / heel and the upper. When I fitted on, the shoes colour was a just light brown. After the fitting, had a conversation with a shop master to make decision about colour / gradation., and polishing. After the fitting, the shoes will be delivered a week later.

“Billet de l'aigle (eagle’s beak)” sharp and neat designed toe, is the characteristic of Corthay. Simple design of Arca and beautiful contour of the toe are brilliant.

ARCAと同じラスト001を使用したモンクストラップモデルJOUVETです。コルテのモンクストラップはエラスティック材を使用してないので、お店でフィッティングの際に適切な位置を確認し、後に穴あけ加工をしてくれるそうなのですが、私の場合は不要でした。なので、穴は１つしか開いていません。個人的にモンクストラップは好きですが、エラスティック材を使用するのはあまり好きでは無いのに加え、一つ穴だと誂えた靴のようで格好良いですね。

This is Jouvet, monk-strap model, which is made by the same last with Arca. These shoes don’t use elastic materials, a shop master will confirm if the strap hole is fitted. In my case, it wasn’t required to make other holes, but regular holes are fitted perfectly for my feet. I prefer monk-strap shoes and this Jouvet is particularly excellent, like bespoke strap shoes.

ラザレフという極東ロシアでも最もサハリン島に近い位置にある街です。半島のように突き出した場所に町があります。冬になるとタタール海峡が凍りつき、人々は車でサハリン島まで渡る事もあるそうです。

Lazarev is a small city located at the far east Russia and is nearest to the Sakhalin island. Tatar strait will be frozen during winter seasons, and people will try to reach the Island by cars.

ロシア流ビールの栓の開け方。バールで空けてます。冗談ではなく本当にしてます。ちなみに、彼らはライターで空けるパターンが一番多いです。

The picture shows how to tap off from a beer bottle in Russia. This is not joking. They normally use a lighter to draw off the top.

ロシアの猫。なんとイクラを食べてます。秋になると大量の鮭があがってくるのです。

Salmon roe is a quite expensive in Japan, but in Russia even a pussy cat can eat it.

極東ロシアのハバロフスクでも青森りんごが売ってます。写真の人は青森の弘前市の山田さんというかただそうで。相当の高級品として流通しているようです。市価は普通のりんごの6倍します。

Apples from Aomori, where the most major source of apples in Japan, are selling at Khabarovsk. It is a high-class food in there, and its price is 6 times higher than other ordinary ones.

ロシア流弁当。ホテルに頼みましたがこの内容はどうなんでしょう。

ボゴロドツカヤ&ネジェニア・ガヴァーニ#2 / Bogorodscoe and Nezhniaa Gavani #2

ボゴロドツカヤから北に車で1時間ほど。極東ロシア・ハバロフスク行政区内では有名な温泉保養地、ネジェニア・ガヴァーニという村です。温泉保養地ですが日本で言うと湯治場のような感じで、御土産物やなどは全く無く、町はかなり閑散としていました。

Nezhniaa Gavani, it takes about 1 hour by car from Bogordoscoe, is a famous hot spring resort in Khabarovsk region, far east Russia. Actually there is not a resort but like a medical treatment centre by means of hot springs. No one was walking in the town, it was a quiet place.

左の建物は町の食堂。奥がゲスト用のホステル。右が温泉保養施設。とにかく閑散としています。
The left building is a kitchen, centre one is a hostel, and the right one is a rest home. Either no one was there…

基本的には医者の診断を受けた後に指示書を貰います。その後、泥のパックやジャグジーなどを受けます。この建物はジャグジー施設のある建物です。皆さん白衣なんぞ着てまして感覚としては病院に来てる感じに近いです。

All guest should have instructions from a doctor in the village prior to receiving treatments, i.e. Jacuzzi, mud bath, massage, etc.etc. All staffs wear white coats, and I felt I came in a hospital

これがそのジャグジーです。ジャグジーを受けながらマッサージを受けます。医者の指示書が無いので残念ながら今回は受けれませんでした。

This is the Jacuzzi, a staff will massage a patient, or a guest. I couldn't receive it due to no instruction from a doctor.

泥パックの施設の人達。右からお医者さん、泥パック係り、泥管理人の方々です。泥管理人の方に丁寧に案内してもらいました。ありがとうございました。

They are working at a mud bath place. From the right, the doctor, for mud packing, and mud material manager… they were so kind and guided me… Sposibo.

ボゴロドツカヤ&ネジェニア・ガヴァーニ #1 / Bogorodscoe and Nezhniaa Gavani #1

ロシアに入国した外国人でビザが必要な国から来た人がその町に72時間以上滞在する場合はその町の行政区役所で登録をしなければなりません。大きな町の場合はホテルが代行しますが小さい町では役所へ出向かなければなりません。デカストリの 場合はボゴロドツカヤという町がその行政区役所にあたります。アムール川（中国名：黒竜江）沿いに位置する小さな町です。

In Russia, all foreign visitors, who needs to acquire visas, should be registered by local administration offices. Hotel administration will supply the registration, but the foreign visitors should go to the administration office in small local towns. Bogorodscoe is the town where is with an administration office, located along the Amur river.

これはアムール川を利用してハバロフスク～ニコラエフスク・ナ・アムーレ間を結ぶ高速フェリーの船着場です。ハバロフスクから大よそ12時間ほど掛かります。

This is an anchorage for a high speed ferry from Khabarovsk to Nikolayevsk na Amure. It takes about 12 hours from Khabarovsk to the Anchorage Bogorodscoe.

町にある唯一のレストランです。日本で言うと田舎町の駅前食堂みたいな感じでしょうか。訪れたのは平日の昼でしたが、ロシアらしく私以外は全員、ビール、ウォッカ、コニャックなどを飲んでました。

The only one restaurant in the towm, it's like a small buffet. I visited on a weekday noon, but every single visitor, except me, drunk beer, vodka, or cognac.

レストランの天井です。小さい穴が見えますか？これシャンパンの蓋を開けた際に出来た穴です。ロシアっぽいですね。
